The Hispano Round Table (HRT) of New Mexico and its member organizations, some of which are 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations, will hold its 13th Annual Tribute to Hispano Legislators on Tuesday, February 15,2005 at 6:00PM Sweeney Convention Center in Santa Fé, NM.

This year's theme is “Telling It Like It Is”. We will be honoring all our Latino legislators who, thru their tireless public service, bring to fruition the hopes and dreams of so many. In addition the HRT “Walking the Talk” award will be given to those New Mexicans who through their literary talents and available media have been “Telling It Like It Is”. The HRT and Image de Alburquerque will also award several scholarships to Hispano students who are outstanding in their community. The evening will climax, as in the past, with the “Flor de Las Flores” presentation; hosted by the former State Senator Manuel “Manny” Aragón, who is now the President of Highlands University.

The HRT deeply appreciates your participation in honoring New Mexico’s Hispano legislators, along with others making a difference in our community, and helping us sponsor scholarships for our youth, and thus we invite you to join us once again in honoring our guests.
